Financial Aid
We award tuition assistance based on demonstrated need by the family. Priority is given to families who complete the admissions and financial aid applications by January 31, 2022.
How to Apply
A family applying for financial aid from Chewonki should fill out a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) online at the School and Student Services site of the National Association of Independent Schools, https://sssandtadsfa.force.com/familyportal
Select “Chewonki Elementary and Middle School” to proceed. Our School and Student Services (SSS) code is 9114. A $52 non-refundable application fee is charged by School and Student Services once the PFS is submitted. In cases of extreme financial hardship, the fee will be waived.
We require a copy of your most recent year W-2 or 1099, and your most recent federal tax return (see note about Tax Documents below). We prefer that you upload these documents to the PFS online form. If the student is currently receiving financial aid at his or her sending school, please submit directly to Chewonki a copy of the most recent award letter.
Tax Documents
Chewonki requires parents’ 2020 federal tax returns, including all schedules, and most recent year W-2 or 1099. We may ask for the 2020 federal tax return, including all schedules.
