
Alexis studied studio art at NYSCC School of Art & Design at Alfred University and has worked at several artist-in-residence programs, including the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild and Salem Art Works. Her intricate drawings have been exhibited throughout the Northeast U.S., and Alexis has been awarded several residencies and grants to support her work. After moving to Maine in 2014, Alexis received a graduate certificate in nonprofit management from Boston University, focusing on arts and cultural organizations. She is currently studying in the Masters of Policy, Planning and Management program at the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine, where she is focusing on nonprofit management.
